Antoine Brechu is a highly skilled, French hair stylist working in Manhattan, New York City, specializing in bridal hair, special events styling, hairup, photo shoots and fashion shows.
In the last year Antoine moved from London to New York and has worked on 57th Street at the Roy Teeluck Salon. He also has worked for Interview Magazine (March 2008), the bridal couture campaign Junko Yoshioka for their annual national campaign (featured in Town and Country Wedding) as well as their fashions shows and other photo shoot. Antoine has also travelled regularly to Los Angeles for salon work at the Christophe Salon in Beverly Hills as well as photo shoots and did the 2009 and 2010 pre-oscar fashion shows.

He has been a salon color coach, team leader and artistic director for the prestige eco-friendly cosmetics Aveda in London. He has also done numerous fashion shows and hair shows as well as photo-shoots and fashion shows in Paris, London, New York City and LA. He participated annually in the French national hairdressing championships, resulting each time in a top 10 ranking.

Antoine Bréchu - biography
Antoine Bréchu was born and raised in Serre Chevalier, a major ski resort in the French Alps, son of a ski champion and an accomplished musician. Surrounded by sports, art and nature, Antoine always had a surprising passion for hair and from the age of five has been following his vocation to be a hairdresser.
Today, Antoine is a talented and highly skilled hairstylist, trained in France at the prestigious Ecole de Coiffure de Lyon. For the past 15 years, his career has taken him from Paris, to London and New York City. Antoine has extensive experience ranging from salon work, teaching and mentoring, to hair shows, fashion shows, TV work, photo shoots and bridal hair.
Growing up as a competitive skier and swimmer, Antoine is always up for a challenge. He is a calm and focussed individual, dedicated to his clients and his work. He listens carefully to his clients’ needs, to which he responds with European flair, creativity and a perfectionist’s attention to detail.
In Paris he worked for Franck Provost as Salon Director, then took the position of Head Stylist at the exclusive Martine Mahé boutique salon. During his six years in London Antoine rose to the position of Art Director at the Gina Conway Aveda Lifestyle Salon in Notting Hill. He has developed a devoted and diverse international clientele.
Antoine relocated to the United States two years ago with his wife Sophie. He currently works at the Roy Teeluck Salon on 57th Street in New York City.
Antoine establishes his balance between creative work, daily sports training and his family.
